The Banshee, was somewhat unique with her backstory, and the Kelpie, just ended up as a cliche at the end. the brownie/fairy creatures were a little dull and could actually have been removed entirely as they didn't add anything meaningful (except perhaps as additional content for the Bonus chapter). They're accompanied by some excellent design and the innkeep and sailor were very believable indeed. Dialogue between them feels relatively natural, and their reasons for helping or extending your search on side quests are plausible and make sense.
